Master Builder monotechnicgets full NBTE accreditation

The Master Builder Institute of Media Studies, Otiro Owhrode, Udu local government areas of Delta State got full accreditation from NBTE last week.

The proprietor of the institute Mr Okejoto Gochua recently broke the cheerful news to the team of seasoned professionals behind the institute.

He said that by this accreditation, the institute is empowered to train students for the national diploma in mass communication, computer science and business management and administration. Said Gochua: ‘We are indeed set to tell our own story through films in particular and communication in general ‘.

The Master Builder Institute dream was floated eight years ago. Prof Godini G Darah, a communication guru and a leading authority on Oral African Literature ,Chief Jerry Lucky Esigie, a business mogul and owner of Esco supermarket, Warri and Mr Ariko Navwojah,a retired educationist are the people behind the success story. The Pond News recalled that the NBTE team visited the Institute some time ago.

The team was led by deputy director, monotechnic programme Hajia Kubura Jauro.

The Pond News understands that the institute also produced podcast ,’Telling our own stories’ anchored by the acting registrar, Mrs Francisca Osai.
